About Aidan Crawshaw
I’m a ceramic artist with a background in both sculpture and architecture. My work grows out of a love for making things by hand and exploring how forms and ideas come together. Some of my pieces are vessels, others lean towards sculpture, but all of them are rooted in a fascination with how clay can hold memory. Architecture has given me an eye for structure and design, while sculpture taught me the material itself. I often draw inspiration from ancient Minoan pottery, and the earthy, rounded forms found in nature.
